Set between the led and the diffuser, the pola-

rizer helps to delete the reﬂection of the ligh-

ting on the workpieces to be controlled.

The camera, equipped with a polarizer ﬁlter,

a.k.a analyzer, can then start the analysis of

the parts, without being disturbed by shiny ef-

fects.

Polarizer can be very useful to lead a quality

control of workpieces packed in transparent

plastic bags.

Only available for visible wavelengths, the polarizer highly reduces

the lighting power (about 50%).

TPL Vision encourages all led lighting users to take maximum protection

measures.

In that respect, the company distributes protective glasses, designed to of-

fer an optimized protection on a wide lighting spectrum: from 350 nm

to 1 000 nm, what covers all wavelengths used by TPL Vision to build its

led lightings.
