Autofocus adjustment

When you are using a camera model with autofocus functionality, the focus is

adjusted automatically through a motorized lens as shown in the drawing on

the next page.

NOTICE

DO NOT attempt to move the lens manually. This might severely damage

the stepper motor used for autofocusing.

Installation of autofocus dome cameras has to be done

within a limited temperature range since the autofocus

functionality does not operate at extremely low

temperatures.

The temperature range for the installation of autofocus

dome cameras is as follows:

 Outdoor, AF: -10 °C to 50 °C (14 °F to 122 °F)

 Indoor, AF: 0 °C to 50 °C (32 °F to 122 °F)

Keep in mind that the temperature ranges for installation

differ from those for operation indicated in the basic

specification tables in Section 9 on page 42.
